Catastrophe: Corpse of a Tree

Rana Roy

Our world is going through a crisis, caused by power and the will to overpower. Power to overpower nature works in tandem with the wish to overpower humans and creatures alike. People are in great danger;  similarly nature too. Instead of afforestation we have begun to believe in deforestation. Purely for our own convenience. We do understand that brutality against humans, other creatures and nature gives birth to more horrifying moments but we fail to understand that fulfilling our immediate motives, standing against and competing with nature, brings wrath to the world.
Catastrophe is an event causing sudden damage or suffering; a disaster, which reveals itself through the following frames.
